Hazards – Earthquakes & Seismic Matters

Protection of human life and welfare, from seismic threats, requires sensitivity, diligence, awareness and innovation on the part of practitioners in the Applied Earth Sciences. The Foundation here gathers and presents useful and helpful evidence of how the geologic record can be developed, evaluated, explored, and utilized to mitigate the destructive seismic forces, both on land and from tsunami effects on coastal areas, worldwide.
